Abstract

The paper focuses on a particular artistic practice: the narratives of the body in the work of Natalia Iguiñiz. The Peruvian visual artist and activist deconstructs and reconstructs the discourse of the archetypal body of women, from the senses of motherhood to the senses of their social status in Latin America, marked by discrimination, prejudice and violence.
