Relatório de estágio de mestrado, Educação e Formação (Área de especialidade Desenvolvimento Social e Cultural), Universidade de Lisboa, Instituto de Educação, 2018O Relatório de Estágio tem como tema a Promoção de Autonomia em Crianças Institucionalizadas, considerando-se uma problemática pertinente para o sucesso das crianças.
O estágio foi realizado numa zona periférica de Lisboa, num Centro de Acolhimento Temporário, privilegiando-se o trabalho com nove crianças em risco e perigo, com idades compreendidas entre os dois e os doze anos. O processo de institucionalização e o funcionamento dos Centros de Acolhimento Temporário são explorados ao longo do relatório.
O projeto desenvolvido teve como objetivo promover a autonomia, focando quatro tópicos gerais: a higiene pessoal, a alimentação, a autorregulação do comportamento e as relações interpessoais. Este projeto procurou ajudar as crianças a adquirirem hábitos de vida e a autoconhecerem-se enquanto pessoas.The subject of this report is the Promotion of Autonomy among Institutionalized Children. It is considered that this soft skill is essential for children’s success and must be stimulated.
The project was developed during an internship that took place at a state-owned temporary shelter, in the suburbs of Lisbon, for neglected, abused or abandoned children. There were nine children, between two and twelve years old, living in this house. In this report, all the process that leads to the institutionalization of a child, such as the daily routine of the shelter, are characterized and explained.
The main goal of the project was to promote autonomy in four key aspects: personal hygiene, alimentation, self-control and interpersonal relationships. This will lead children to acquire healthier habits and deeper knowledge about themselves
