Program:  PLS 301  Department, College:  Plant Sciences. CELS  Faculty Member: Professor W. Michael Sullivan  Date returned to Faculty:  March 25, 2015  Librarian Completing Assessment:  Michael A. Cerbo II  Collection Management Officer:   Professor Joanna Burkhardt    This 1 credit seminar course is titled “Pesticide Applicator Training” and is a safety training class which will lead to the opportunity to take the Rhode Island licensing exam. The goal of this course is to give a competitive advantage in employment to our students.  We are able to add whatever appropriate monographic needs might arise for the instructor.  Our monographic holdings in the environmental and plant sciences are good and any additional materials can be garnered though Interlibrary loan.   Access to journals in this field meets the needs of the course. Since the focus of this one credit is pesticide management and safety training specific to the exam for the RI license, the required materials from the library will be minimal.  Therefore, the librarian believes that the Library can support, bibliographically, the needs of the students to be able to acquire the most out of this course.  Michael A.
