Owen Cosgrove chose to interview Dr. John Stevens for his research project because Dr. Stevens went to Abilene Christian College as a history teacher in 1948 through the influence of Don H. Morris. He worked with Dr. Morris for several years in the college\u27s administration before succeeding him as President in 1969. Dr. Morris helped to groom Dr. Stevens for the presidency
