It will offer practical techniques to locate former alumni, faculty and authors who may need to be contacted for permission to publish materials within an institutional repository. Free tools and sources for locating people online will be presented. Participants will gain an understanding of the steps involved in finding authors, as well as how to assess if it is necessary for their project
