3D Information Extraction from Physics Exercise VideosAuthor: Benjamin Miller, Khoa Ho & Mickael YongoAdvisors: Dr. Ying Xie & Dr. Linh LeCP-89INTRO❑ The motivation of this project is to provide amobile solution that will be able to extract 3Dskeletons from athletes on the field withoutthe use of a dedicated immobile setup.❑ The goal of the project is to extract 3Dinformation similar to that from a dedicatedsetup with the use of video captured on adevice as portable as a cellphone.METHODS❑We use packages available on GitHub toevaluate different physics exercise videos.Then, we render the input into a final resultwhich is a 3D skeleton built from 3Dkeypoints.RESULTS❑ The extracted data can be used for furthercalculations such as, angle of the jointmovements, velocity, and speed. Thesecalculations can help athletes to reduce therisk of injury and improve their performance.A software package can turn you into a digital skeleton.Scan me for more information!
