Abstract
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá humanitárním úsilím OSN v období 2005-2015. V první části práce jsou stručně popsány Rozvojové cíle tisíciletí, důležitá rozvojová agenda OSN. Popsány jsou zde rovněž čtyři vybrané orgány OSN poskytující humanitární pomoc. Práce obsahuje také popis tří vybraných světových krizí, jejich vznik a důsledky. V praktické části je provedena SWOT analýza a následná komparace jednotlivých misí OSN, které byly ustanoveny v námi vybraných zemích. V práci je dále analyzováno humanitární úsilí Světového potravinového fondu v období 2005-2015 a hodnocena úspěšnost jeho působení ve vybraných státech. Závěrečná část práce se zabývá přínosem dvou vybraných českých humanitárních organizací ve vybraných zemích.This thesis deals with United Nations' humanitarian effort between 2005 and 2015. The first part outlines briefly Millennium Development Goals which is an important United Nations developing agenda. Four United Nations agencies providing humananitarian aid are described as well. Finally, a description of three chosen world humanitarian crises, their genesis and consequences is provided in this part. The practical part is dedicated to the SWOT analysis of the specified United Nations missions, followed by their comparison. The humanitarian effort of World Food Programme and its success between 2005 and 2015 is also analyzed. The final part of the thesis is focused on the contribution of two Czech humanitarian organizations in chosen countries
