Abstract
Práce se zabývá vývojem vytápění a zdravotně-technických instalací od nejstarších dob do poloviny 20. století. Část "Vytápění" začíná u ohně, dále popisuje starořímské Hypokaustum, krby, kamna. Následuje vytápění teplým vzduchem, párou, teplou vodou, svítiplynem a elektřinou. Část "Zdravotně-technické instalace" se zabývá vývojem zařizovacích předmětů (záchodů, van, umývadel, výlevek a kuchyňských dřezů). Jednotlivá zařízení jsou popisována chronologicky a text je doplněn názornými obrázky. V závěru každé hlavní částí jsou uvedeny příklady rekonstrukcí daných systémů.The thesis is divided into development of heating and health-technical installations from ancient times to the half of 20th century. First part about heating describes fire, ancient Roman hypocaust, fireplaces, heaters. This is followed by hot air heating, steam heating, coal gas and electrical heating. The part about health technical installations describes sanitary facility like toilets, baths, washbasins and sinks. The objects are described chronologically and demonstrative pictures are added to the thesis. Examples of reconstructions of the systems are mentioned at the end of every part
