Hubungan Obesitas dan Stress dengan Kejadian Hipertensi Guru SD Wanita

Abstract

 Hypertension is one of the cardiovascular disease causing of highest mortality. Hypertension may occur because of obesity, and job stress. The purpose of this research to analyze the relationship between family history of hypertension, obesity, stress with the occurrence of hypertension in Woman Elementary School Teachers in Subdistrict Kalipucang. This type of research is an observational, with cross sectional approach. The research was conducted in woman aged 40-55 years who has worked as an Elementary School Teacher in the Subdistrict Kalipucang with samples of 58 peoples. Data were analyzed with chi-square test at alpha 0,05. The results showed that two variables that have a research relationship with the occurences of hypertension that is variable obesity p<0,03 with a value (POR:3,8; 95% CI POR:1,2-11,8), stress the value of p<0,01 with a value (POR: 6,2; 95% CI POR:1,4-26,2). Suggested that an effort to increase counseling activities and program activities in order to reduce the occurrences rate of hypertension
