Este artículo analiza las estrategias solidarias desplegadas por los expatriados catalanes residentes en Chile y en Argentina en los años treinta y cuarenta del siglo pasado, prestando especial atención a aquellas empresas humanitarias y patrióticas transfronterizas, la cooperación étnica, los aprendizajes estratégicos, las redes familiares y políticas y las articulaciones horizontales en pos de la ayuda. Elementos todos que permiten pensar las diásporas catalanas en Chile y Argentina como un espacio transnacional solidario a ambos lados de la cordillera de los Andes y a través del océano Atlántico.This article analyzes the solidary strategies opened by the Catalan resident expatriates in Chile and in Argentina in the thirties and forties of the last century, paying particular attention to those humanitarian and patriotic cross-border enterprises, the ethnic cooperation, the strategic learnings, the familiar and political networks and the horizontal joints in pursuit of the help. These elements allow to think the catalan diasporas in Chile and Argentina as a transnational solidary space on both sides of the Andes and across the Atlantic Ocean.Fil: Jensen, Silvina Inés.
