A educaçâo popular em tesitura com o pensamento freireano: O proceso educativo como posibilidade de humanizaçâo

Abstract

Tema central deste artigo é a educação popular em tessitura com o pensamento freireano, como processo educativo que se apresenta como possibilidade de humanização de sujeitos e coletivos. A perspectiva emancipatória, libertadora e humanizadora é uma das características mais importantes da educação popular. O arcabouço da educação popular tem em sua construção as contribuições organicamente tecidas por Freire. Metodologicamente partimos de nossas experiências populares, refletidas pela teoria da educação popular em sua tessitura com as ideias de Paulo Freire. Assim nos enveredamos pelas categorias da curiosidade epistemológica, da conscientização, da autonomia, e também da teoria da educação popular para, ao final, reafirmar o processo educativo popular como possibilidade de libertação, de humanizaçãoThe central theme of this article is the popular education in composition to the Freirean thought, as an educational process that presents itself as a possibility of humanization of subjects and collectives. The emancipatorian, liberating and humanizing perspective is one of the most important characteristics of the popular education. The framework of the popular education has in its construction the contributions organically woven by Freire. Methodologically, we start this study based on our popular experiences which are reflected by the theory of the popular education in and the ideas of Paulo Freire. In this way, we go through the categories of epistemological curiosity, awareness, autonomy, and also the popular education theory, in order to reaffirm the popular educational process as a possibility of liberation and humanizatio
