The Directing and Choreography students will be showcasing pieces that they have created. Seniors will also be presenting the final projects of their undergraduate years in the Senior Showcase. In addition to these special events, the theatre department will be putting up the last show of the 2016-2017 season, Suddenly Last Summer, and artwork from the Annual Juried Student Exhibition can still be seen on display in Gallery 217. This edition of Art Infested Water will be showcasing the student choreographers and directors that will be featured at the Festival of Student Works. Students in the Choreography class create a dance piece, and students in the Directing for the Stage class choose a short one-act play to direct and be performed by their peers. Each director and choreographer creates their own lighting, sound, and sets, bringing in aspects of each part of their studies. Many of the directors and choreographers are seniors, making the Festival of Student Works one of their final performance pieces at NSU. This is a FREE event, so make sure to come out and support the students!
