This paper presents a parametric study on the control parameters of a Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) to reduce the seismic response of a simple framed structure with non-linear hysteretic behavior. A numerical model was implemented in MATLAB/Simulink to obtain the structural response and evaluate the contribution of each control parameter to the system.
