Essential oil composition of flowers from Oyedaea verbesinoides D.C.

Abstract

El aceite esencial de las flores de Oyedaea verbesinoides D.C. (Asteraceae) obtenido por hidrodestilación, fue analizado por cromatografía de gases acoplada a espectrometría de masas (CG-EM). Se identificaron cuarenta y nueve compuestos, siendo los mayoritarios: ß-pineno (23,8 %), a-pineno (15,9 %), ß-felandreno (6,9 %), d-3-careno (4,3 %), kaurenal (4,2 %) y carotol (4,0 %). Este es el primer estudio que describe la composición química del aceite esencial de las flores de esta especie.2 - [email protected]@[email protected] essential oil of flowers from Oyedaea verbesinoides D.C. Fortynine compounds were identified, being the majority: ß-pinene (23.9 %), a-pinene (15.9 %), ß-phellandrene (6.9 %), d-3-carene (4.3 %), kaurenal (4.2 %) and carotol (4.0 %). This is the first study that describes the chemical composition of the essential oil from the flowers of this species
