Research methodologies is science learning about research method, science about appliance in research. In phylosophy, logic known as science about appliance to look for the truth, therefore, hence research methodologies is the part of logic. In this article, will be elaborated some opinion of all philosopher influenced the grouth of research methodologies, inclusive of public administration research methodologies. In recently, have expanded two approach in public administration research methodologies namely quatitative (positivist) and qualitative approach (post-positivest). Quantitative approach distinguish the core important: (1) definitive design, (2) testing hypothesis (theory), (3) Instruments (questionnaire, test, interview, scale), (4) statistical tecnique or quantitative data analysis, (5) deductive method, etc. While approach qualitative distinguish tha core important: (1) flexible design, (2) developing theory, (3) human intrumen, (4) descriptive or qualitative data analysis, (5) inductive method, etc
