Метою дослідження є вирішення проблеми унікальності ідентифікації авторів наукових досліджень. Завданням дослідження є проаналізувати існуючі цифрові ідентифікатори та теоретично обґрунтувати використання науковцями унікального ідентифікатора автора, що вирішить проблеми ідентифікації вчених, на міжнародному рівні, пов’язані зі зміною прізвищ, однакових імен та прізвищ, змінної транскрипції і порядку складних імен, де існують середні імена; загальних імен, ініціалів і т.д. Об’єктом дослідження є цифрові ідентифікатори, предметом дослідження є система авторських ідентифікаторів ORCID. У дослідженні використано методи аналізу спеціальної літератури, збір відомостей з досліджуваної проблеми, спеціалізованих джерел, публікацій вітчизняних і зарубіжних учених; методи порівняння та узагальнення. Результатом дослідження є теоретичне обґрунтування використання науковцями системи авторських ідентифікаторів ORCID.The aims of the research is discovery the problem of unique identification of authors. The objective of the study is to analyze the existing digital identifiers and theoretically justify the use of a unique identifier scientists author, solve the problem of identification of scientists internationally, related to the change of names, the same names, and order of variable transcription complex names, which are secondary names; common names, initials, etc. Object is a digital ID, the subject of research is the system identifier authors ORCID. The study used methods of analysis of literature, gathering information on the researched topic, specialized sources, publications of local and foreign scientists; methods of comparison and synthesis.
