An anomalous Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) is a possible independent risk factor for deep vein thrombosis (DVT). This case represents the rare complication of an anomalous IVC causing multiple DVTs, not only in the lower extremity, but also in the abdominal periaortic circulation.
