Recent developments in the study of compositae from Vietnam

Abstract

The Compositae is one of the largest, most diverse and most important families in the flora of Vietnam. Several species of this family have been used as sources of natural material for food, in the production of herbicides, growth regulators, drugs in traditional and modem medicines, etc. Recent developments in chemical and botanical studies of some genera of Compositae from Vietnam: Artemisia, Ageratum, Blumea and Eupatorium, are discussed
