Il saggio si propone di passare in rassegna la bibliografia storico-giuridica relativa al tema del giurisdizionalismo e avanza alcune considerazioni critica di come il sistema di valutazione attuale possa aggravare la crisi di ricerche sopra questo decisivo tema.This essay aims at reviewing the most recent Italian bibliography on jurisdictionalism and at pinpointing the causes of the decrease in interest for this noble branch of research during the last decades. At the root of this phenomenon we can indicate the academic context that has pushed historians of law and jurists of Canon Law or Ecclesiastical Law toward studies of the contemporary age or the comparison between legal systems. Additionally, we must consider the loss of appeal of the traditional debate between the Italian State and the Catholic Church, today overtaken by research on different systems of religious rules, linked to the migratory phenomenon
