Analisis Disparitas Kualitas Pelayanan Puskesmas di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara

Abstract

Health care providers and policymakers are increasingly using patient satisfaction measures to assess the performance of health care organizations such as primary health center. Kutai kartanegara district is one of district located in East Kalimantan Province. Although rich in natural resources, such as coal and natural gas, Kutai Kartanegara district has been problems traditionally been an under-developed rural region and disparity in health developments between their areas. The aims of this research is to analyze the disparity of quality of primary health center in terms of patient satisfaction on three areas in the Kutai regency, the coastal, urban and rural areas. This research used a descriptive method. The populations of this research were 6 primary health center (2 in coastal areas, 2 in urban areas and 2 in rural areas). This research used Annova test to show the differences of patient satisfaction levels in three different areas in the district of Kutai as measurement tools to evaluate the quality of primary health center. This research used RATER scale to analyzed quality of primary health center. This research found that from five dimensions of RATER scales, only three dimensions showed the differences (reliabilities, responsiveness and tangibilitys) and for empathies and assurances dimensions there are no significance differences.
