Abstract

PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Semarang branch from 1990 to the present every year always provides low-interest capital loans to SMEs in Central Java. In addition to providing capital loans. PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Semarang Branch also conducts training programs in the field of managerial and supervision for surrogate partners, with the aim to improve the ability andskills in the field of managerial its agent partners. Managerial ability is very important in the field owned by the SMEs in order to improve its performance. The purpose of this study was to prove the difference in the performance of SMEs that have and have not followed the training and supervision program assisted partners PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Branch Semarang.The population in this study are all managers who are SMEs Patronage Partners Regional Branch Semarang PT. Jasa Marga (Persero). Sampling was carried out with the aim of sampling technique (purposive sampling). The samples in this study, totaling 25 (Twenty five) for SMEs who have not attended the training and supervision dan25 (five) for SMEs that havetraining and supervision. Inferential analysis used in this study is the Mann-Whitney test (U test). The results using a different test to prove that: performance in the areas of production,marketing, and finance SMEs who have attended training programs and supervision of trained partners are significantly different from those not following the training and supervision program established partners (1) performance in the field of human resources SMEs that have followed the training and supervision program established partners are significantly different from those not following the training and supervision program assisted partners PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Branch Semarang
