Electra, una revista finisecular

Abstract

En las cuestiones analizadas de la Revista Electra se documenta la estética y complejidad de final de siglo XIX en España. Los autores muestran una gran coincidencia ideológica en la actitud de rechazo a los valores tradicionales, decadentismo y vitalismo incluso en términos estéticos (una tendencia del movimiento simbolista). Esta unión permite una gran diversidad de motivos y formas variadas (desintegración de movimientos como el realismo, modernismo, simbolismo y en 1898 el impresionismo) que converge en un concepto específico de arte caracterizado por un espíritu de lucha y una profunda dimensión social.In the issues of the magazine analyzed Electra is documented the aesthetics and complexity of the end of the XIX century in Spain. The authors show a great ideological differences in the attitude of rejection of traditional values, decadence and vitalism even in aesthetic terms (a tendency of the symbolist movement). This union allows, for a great diversity of motives and varied forms (disintegration of movements such as realism, modernism, symbolism and in 1898 the impressionism) that converges on a specific concept of art characterised by a spirit of struggle and a deep social dimension.notPeerReviewe
