La predeterminación sustantiva en inglés técnico. Problemas en su interpretación y traducción al español

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo ha sido acercarnos a la predeterminación sustantiva, ya que, como profesionales de la enseñanza del inglés en una escuela técnica, somos conscientes de la dificultad de este recurso lingüístico para el estudiante. Por ello se pretende analizar la composición y funciones de estos grupos en inglés técnico, ver las posibles equivalencias en la lengua terminal y dotar al estudiante, en la medida de lo posible, de unas destrezas que le permitan la ordenación y la comprensión de estos grupos en el texto fuente y su adecuada traducción al idioma propio, en este caso el español.The objective of this article has been to get closer to the substantive predetermination, since, as professional teachers of English in a technical school, we are aware of the difficulty of this language resource to the student. For this reason it is intended to analyze the composition and functions of these groups on technical English, see possible equivalence in the terminal language and provide the student of some skills that will enable them to manage and the understanding of these groups in the source text and its translation to the language itself, in this case Spanish.notPeerReviewe
