Abstract

Con el objeto de complementar información acerca de los componentes bióticos del Santuario de la Naturaleza Carlos Anwandter y zonas aledañas en el río Cruces en Valdivia, Chile, lugar que ha sido afectado recientemente por un desastre ecológico que llevó a la muerte y migración de un número importante de especies de avifauna, se entregan antecedentes sobre el “luchecillo” (Egeria densa), macrófita sumergida también desaparecida, que cumplía un rol fundamental en el ecosistema y en la dieta del cisne de cuello negro.With the purpose to complete the information about the biotic components of the Natural Sanctuary Carlos Anwandter and surroundings zones in the Cruces river in Valdivia, Chile, site that was affected recently by an ecological dissaster that generated mortality and emigration of an important number of aquatic birds, are reported antecedents on the “luchecillo” (Egeria densa), macrophyte summerged also dissapeared, that has an key role within the ecosystem and in the diet of the black neck swan
