本发明涉及一种干旱荒漠区人工恢复柽柳自维持能力的方法,该方法通过苗木选择、前期整地和后期处理等步骤完成,利用柽柳根系发育的向水性能及其部分植被根系通过对干旱的感应而形成的反馈调节机制,增加人工恢复柽柳对水分的获取能力,同时提高其对干旱的适应能力,从而达到促进干旱荒漠区人工恢复柽柳整体自维持能力提升的目的,避免人为辅助措施撤消后的逆向演替。实现在降水量小于100mm及地下水埋深3-4m的自然条件下人工恢复柽柳幼苗在人为辅助措施撤消后依靠其自维持能力保证继续生存并发育成长
