FROM THE COLLECTIONS OF THE POLISH LIBRARY IN PARIS
AS A SOURCE ON THE POLITICAL HISTORY
OF THE GRAND DUCHY OF LITHUANIA FROM 1737 TO 1764

Удалося ўстанавіць месца і роль Міхала Масальскага ў грамадска-палітычным жыцці ВКЛ у 30–60-х гг. XVIII ст., а таксама размеркаванне роляў сярод лідараў Фаміліі. Удакладняецца пазіцыя кіраўнікоў Фаміліі ў тых ці іншых палітычных здарэннях. Вызначаюцца агульнае і адрознае ў пазіцыі групоўкі Міхала Масальскага адносна іншых лідараў Фаміліі і прычыны яго канфлікту з імі ў 1761–1762 гг.= On the basis of correspondence from the Polish Library in Paris, the political history of the GDL 1737–1764 is investigated. The author managed to establish the place and role of Mikhail Masalsky in the social and political life of the GDL in the 30–60s of the 18th century, and also the distribution of roles among the lead-ers of the Familia (political party). It allowed to clarify the position of the leaders of the Familia in certain polit-ical incidents. This allows to understand the common and different in the position of the Mikhail Masalsky grouping regarding the other leaders of the Familia and better understand the causes of his conflict with them in 1761–1762
