CASO CLINICO. PSEUDOQUISTE ESPLENICO. APARICION TARDIA POST-TRAUMA OBSTETRICO

Abstract

Se reporta un caso inusual de la evoluci\uf3n de un trauma espl\ue9nico. Una mujer de 20 a\uf1os, con antecedentes de traumatismo toracoabdominal cerrado durante el trabajo de parto (maniobra de Kristeller), present\uf3 un pseudo quiste espl\ue9nico, cuyos s\uedntomas aparecieron 3 meses despu\ue9s del traumatismo, desarrollando un tumor voluminoso en el hemiabdomen izquierdo; el diagn\uf3stico fue hecho cl\uednicamente y asistido por la TAC abdominal; debido al gran tama\uf1o del pseudo quiste se realiz\uf3 laparotom\ueda exploradora, cistectom\ueda y esplenectom\ueda. SUMMARY A case of an unusual evolution for splenic trauma is reported. A 20 years old woman with previus blunt thoracic abdominal trauma during the childbirth (Kristeller\ub4s manouever), present an splenic pseudocyst, and the symptoms appear three months after the trauma, developing a voluminous tumor in the left half of abdomen; the diagnostic was made clinically and assisted by abdominal computadorized tomography; due to the great volume of the pseudocyst an exploratory laparotomy, cystectomy and splenectomy was perfomed
