Abstract
La agencia de viajes y turismo ISA LTDA. es una empresa familiar con una tradición de 25 años en el municipio de Santa Rosa de Cabal, un reconocimiento en el medio local y regional por la excelente atención con los clientes y su incomparable servicio. En los últimos dos años la empresa ha presentado un decremento en sus ventas debido a la crisis económica del municipio, la creación de nuevas empresas virtuales y la competencia desleal de algunos hoteles que actúan como intermediarios con otras agencias de viajes. En estas circunstancias la familia Ortega (propietarios de Viajes ISA,) encuentra en la norma ISO una herramienta que le permitirá ser más competitiva dentro del sector turístico colombiano, y a la; vez cumplir con las condiciones exigidas por el Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Turismo. Por esta razón, implementaran la Norma ISO 9001:2008 y las Normas Técnicas Sectoriales, pertinentes al sector del turismo y especificadas como AV01 reservas, AV02 Atención al Cliente, AV03 Infraestructura y AV04 Diseño de planes. Estas últimas hacen parte de la certificación de la marca turística, la cual es administrada por el Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Turismo en la resolución 650 del 2008. Los lineamientos trazados en el presente proyecto, están dados a partir de un proceso documental, que permitirá a la Agencia de Viajes y Turismo, implementar su Sistema de Gestión de Calidad y por ende certificarse. Se determinaron resultados tangibles para cumplir con los requerimientos exigidos por ISO y las NTS. Así mismo, los propietarios han ordenado la elaboración de un plan estratégico, una declaración escrita definida como política de calidad y sus respectivos objetivos, un plan de capacitaciones para el personal de Viajes ISA LTDA y la documentación requerida por las NTS AV01, AV02, AV03 y AV04.The travels & tourism ISA LTDA. agency is a well-known enterprise with twenty five years of experience working around Santa Rosa de cabal. It has been recognized in the area for its pleasant dealings with customers and its first-rate service. The enterprise’s sales has fallen during the past of two years, the reasons of that are economical crisis of the municipality,
establishment of virtual travels & tourism enterprises and disloyal competition of some hotels and their trend to act as go-between customers and others travels & tourism agencies. Under these circumstances, the Ortega family (owners of ISA LTDA.) conceives the ISO norm like a measure to be more competitive into the Colombian tourist sector, at the same time; a way to fulfill the requests of the Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Turismo. For that reason, they’ll set up the ISO norm 9001:2008 and the Normas Técnicas Sectoriales related to the tourist sector and specified as AV01 reserves, AV02 customer service, AV03 infrastructure and AV04 plans design. The last ones belong to certification of the tourist label, which is managed by the Ministerio de Industria, Comercio
y Turismo in the resolution 650 from 2008. All the guidelines drew in this present project have been conceived through a documental process, it’ll
allow to the travels & tourism ISA LTDA. agency to set up the intervention quality system and lastly to be certificated. Tangible results have been asked to fulfill the ISO and the NTS requests. Likewise, the owners have asked for the making of a strategic plan, a writing statement defined as politics of quality and its respective objectives, a qualify plan for the employees of ISA LTDA and the required documentation by the NTS AV01, AV02, AV03 and AV04
