Abstract
Las autoras desean mediante esta investigación analizar y describir; como se han implementado los cupos especiales para los grupos étnicos, en el ingreso, específicamentea la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, y cómo se ha implementado a nivel nacional, ya que es necesario conocer qué compete a los grupos étnicos en los cupos especiales. Es indispensable partir de la difusión e información formal que se pueda documentar para que estos grupos poblacionales (grupos étnicos), sepan a que tienen derecho, cuales son los diferentes acompañamientos y requerimientos que necesitan, especificaciones de los programas educativos que la universidad ofrece y los servicios a los cuales puedan acceder. En la presente investigación se describen los antecedentes o trabajos que se han realizado en diferentes universidades, sobre el tema que se trata en esta investigación. Esta perspectiva evidencia la necesidad de integrar más a los estudiantes Afrocolombianos e indígenas a los Campus Universitarios. Para ello las autoras han considerado necesario inscribir en el marco de referencia, las diferentes teorías a que dan lugar a la pregunta del proyecto; ya queel análisisde los autores escogidos para la indagación del trabajo sigue un método social, dondese busca mostrar que esaspoblaciones, tienen derechos y compromisos por parte de sus comunidades de origen, y enla sociedad mediante una educación de calidad acorde con sus necesidades, además de ello se describe el Marco Legal que permite la inserción de estos grupos a la Educación Nacional. Para poder determinar y lograr concluir sobre la pregunta de la investigaciónlas autoras desarrollaron una serie de entrevistas con personas que de una u otra manera se encuentran inmersas en la problemática que sedescribe, ellas, como fuentes internas y externas, permitieron tener por estas autoras de una visión más clara sobre los antecedentes y desarrollo de los cupos especiales, además se desarrollaron encuestas dirigidas a la población objetivo es decir a la población educativa Afrocolombiana e indígena de la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira y con ellas poder determinar que percepción de este tema de investigación tiene y conocen. Por último se realiza una Discusión, Conclusión y Recomendaciones sobre el análisis de la información recolectada, adicional a ello el trabajo finaliza con los anexos que contienen el apoyo documental de este proyecto de investigación.The authors wish through this research to analyze and describe, as they have implemented the special quotas for ethnic groups in income, specifically the Technological University of Pereira, and how it is implemented nationally, as it is necessary to know what responsibility ethnic groups in special quotas.
