Abstract

WaterAid was established over 30 years ago with a simple vision of a world where everyone has access to safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene. As the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) era draws to a close and we look ahead to post-2015, there is a growing consensus among sector professionals that, for the first time in history, this longstanding goal of universal access is now within reach.
