Abstract
Georgia Health Policy Center performed an assessment of Georgia's public health system to more clearly define public health's "core business" especially as it relates to the broader system of health and health care in the state; gain an accurate understanding of the public's perception of the role of public health; examine the areas of existing service overlap; and investigate opportunities for increased collaboration with various health care providers and stakeholders
