La Unión Europea ha aprobado recientemente la Directiva que regula la Orden Europea de Protección. Se trata de un instrumento que tiene por objetivo extender la efectividad de una medida de protección adoptada en un Estado miembro al resto de Estados miembros. La principal dificultad que se observa en su aplicación es la heterogeneidad de la regulación de la violencia de género en los distintos Estados miembros.The European Union has recently approved the Directive of the European Protection Order.
