The anaerobic process was efficient in organic matter removal. During the process, an interesting compound as quercetin was produced inside of reactor. Phylogenetic analysis showed the presence of phylotypes affiliated with gamma-Proteobacteria, Choroflexi, and Bacteroidetes.
