Corporate Parenting National Training Program • We delivered in 29 out of the 32 local authorities • 11 out of the 14 NHS Health Boards • Various other settings events, conferences etc.  • Involved over 150 looked after young people across Scotland in the sessions • Delivered training inputs to over 2000 'corporate parents' during the 3 years of our funding  • Recommendations will be put to Social Care &Well-being committee for Elected members to make decisions in relation to the future model for residential children’s services.  • Strengthening of Family Firm internally and building the network of placements with community planning partners which includes private sector.   • Working in partnership with Who Cares? Scotland to seek to develop a bid for one of the six Demonstrator Sites to ensure transformational change in Throughcare Services (The Life Changes Trust National Lottery).  • Developing an online Corporate Parenting Course for all staff  • Seeking approval for the establishment of the Corporate Parenting Champions Board • Continue to work on increasing attainment of looked after children  • Continue to support children to make healthy life style choices  • Continue to support young people into sustained positive destinations  • Continue to support young people into independent living including suitable housing       The objectives of the Children’s Champions Board are: • To provide a forum to voice the views of looked after and previously looked after young people. • To support young people to communicate their views and experiences effectively to their corporate parents. • To enable corporate parents to understand the views and need of looked after young people in Renfrewshire. • For corporate parents to take responsibility for facilitating change within their service or agency to reflect the views and needs of looked after young people.
