THE INFLUENCE OF INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD ON IMPROVING STUDENTS` ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND MOTIVATION IN THE CONTEXT OF TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Abstract

Splošno znano je, da IKT igra vse bolj in bolj pomembno vlogo v kulturnih, znanstvenih in socialnih področjih našega življenja. Poučevanje z interaktivno tablo naj bi pripomoglo k večji pozornosti in motivaciji vseh učencev v razredu, ti pa naj bi bili očarani nad videnim ter slišanim. V diplomskem delu je predstavljena uporaba interaktivne table pri poučevanju tujega jezika ter kako uporaba interaktivne table vpliva na učno uspešnost in motivacijo učencev v osnovnih šolah.It is commonly known that modern information and communication technology plays an increasingly important role in cultural, scientific and social areas of our lives. Teaching with an interactive whiteboard should help to increase the pupils\u27 attention and motivation in the classroom, they will be taken with the topic that would be seen or heard. The diploma paper introduces the usage of the interactive whiteboard in teaching a foreign language and its influence on pupils’ learning performance and motivation in primary schools
