The aim of this work is to contribute to the studies on Portuguese paremiology. The
Florilegio consists of two parts: the former is of phraseological scope, as it introduces an alphabetic list of
Portuguese sentences with their Latin correspondences; the latter, of paremiologic scope, is a compilation
of Portuguese proverbs with their Latin equivalents
