[Resumen] En el estudio que presentamos se pretende
determinar cómo es el patrón de involución
durante el proceso del envejecimiento. Para
ello utilizamos una muestra de 200 sujetos
(alumnos de Psicología y personas mayores).
Las pruebas aplicadas en ambos casos fueron,
el Test Stroop de palabras y colores, el VOSP
(Batería de test para la percepción visual de
objetos y del espacio) y una prueba de tiempo
de reacción con estímulos auditivos y visua-
les. Los resultados muestran que no existe un
deterioro generalizado de los procesos cogni-
tivos en el envejecimiento, puesto que diver-
sas investigaciones avalan tan solo la presen-
cia de cambios normales y no patológicos en
dichos procesos.[Abstract] In the study that we presented it tries to
determine how it is the involution pattern
during the process of the aging. We used a
sample of 200 subjects (100 psychology stu-
dents and 100 people majors). The tests
applied in both cases were, the Stroop Test of
words and colors, the VOSP (Battery of test
for the visual perception of objects and the
space) and a test of reaction time with audi-
tory and visual stimuli. The results show that
it´snt possible to be determined that a genera-
lized deterioration of the mental processes in
the aging does not exist, since diverse investi-
gations guarantee only the presence of normal
and without pathology changes in these pro-
cesses
