[Resumen] Sobre la base de que la Ley de Propiedad Intelectual es la norma reguladora de
los derechos de propiedad intelectual del profesorado universitario sobre sus obras, se
analizan los temas relativos a la titularidad y transmisión de los derechos de autor en
la relación de dicho profesorado con las Universidades, poniendo de manifiesto lo
confuso de la regulación legal y aportando soluciones para que las deficiencias puedan
ser superadas.[Abstract] Bearing in mind that the Intellectual Property Act governs the intellectual property
rights of the university teachers concerning their works, here are analysed those
matters related to ownership and transfer of the copyrights, with regard to the relationship
between the aforementioned teachers and the Universities, stating that the Act
is confused and giving some solutions in order to overcome the defects
