Dissertação de Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.Enquadrado no processo de formação inicial de educadores/professores, o relatório de estágio é parte integrante do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, da Universidade dos Açores e pretende ser um documento de natureza crítico-reflexiva acerca das práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas em contexto de estágio na Educação Pré-Escolar e no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, no âmbito das unidades curriculares de Prática Educativa Supervisionada I e II, respetivamente. Tendo como tema aglutinador "Práticas Educativas no Pré-Escolar e no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico: o envolvimento da família em contexto de estágio", tem como principais objetivos descrever e refletir acerca das opções tomadas e das acções realizadas durante os momentos de prática educativa em contexto de escola, remetendo para a temática escolhida a descrição de algumas atividades realizadas ao longo do estágio e desmistificar as percepções inerentes à relação escola-família, no que respeita às questões e os fatores que influenciam o envolvimento parental.
Apesar de desempenharem papéis distintos, família e escola são, obrigatoriamente, parceiros na educação da criança, pelo que frequentemente estes papéis se cruzam e inevitavelmente esta parceria é potenciada. Procuramos então saber de que forma é que famílias e professores poderão colaborar de modo a alcançar-se o sucesso educativo das crianças. Para tal, averiguamos a opinião de pais e encarregados de educação do pré-escolar e 1.º ciclo acerca do envolvimento da família na escola, uma vez que existe a ideia subjacente a este tema de que muitas famílias se destituíram da sua função de educadores, relegando-a para a escola. Perante os resultados deste estudo, declinámos esta ideia, uma vez que a família mostra-se interessada em participar e envolver-se na vida escolar dos seus filhos, contudo há obstáculos que dificultam esta interacção, quer por parte da escola, quer pela própria estrutura e capital cultural da família.ABSTRACT: As part of the initial training of teachers/educators process, the probation report is an integral part of the Masters in Preschool Education and Teaching 1st Cycle of Basic Education, the University of the Azores and aims to be a critical and reflective nature of document about teaching practices developed in the context of stage in Pre-School Education and the 1st Cycle of Basic Education in the context of courses Supervised Educational Practice I and II, respectively. Having as a unifying theme "Educational Practices in Preschool and 1st Cycle of Basic Education: family involvement in the context of probation" has as main objective to describe and reflect on the choices made and the actions taken during times of educational practice in the context of school, referring to the chosen topic describes some activities performed during the internship and demystify perceptions inherent in the school-family relationship, as regards the issues and factors that influence parental involvement. Although they play different roles, family and school are necessarily partners in the education of the child, so often these roles intersect and inevitably this partnership is enhanced. We then try to find out how it is that families and teachers can collaborate to achieve is the educational success of children. For this, we ascertain the views of parents and carers of pre-school and 1st cycle about family involvement in school, since there is the underlying theme of this that many families ousted from his role as educators idea relegating it to the school. Given the results of this study, we decline this idea, since the family is shown keen to participate and become involved in the school life of their children, yet there are obstacles that hinder this interaction, either by the school or by the structure and cultural capital of the family
