Connectem i l’alfabetització digital de l’interior. Estudi sobre un programa d’alfabetització digital a les zones rurals de la província de Castelló

Abstract

A més de ser un centre d’ensenyament superior i investigació, la Universitat Jaume I de Castelló, a partir d’ara UJI, manté, des de la seua creació el 1991, un compromís amb el territori de la província de Castelló i el seu desenvolupament social, econòmic i cultural. En la línia d’aquest compromís amb el territori, el Programa Connectem va nàixer amb els objectius principals de promoció i foment en l’ús de les TIC en l’àmbit rural provincial, i això mitjançant diverses actuacions formatives i de dinamització. A través d’aquest projecte la Universitat Jaume I, en concret a través del Servei d’Activitats Socioculturals (SASC), pretén aportar formació en l’ús de les eines comunicatives d’Internet i ajudar i estimular la creació de projectes comunicatius en el medi rural de la província de Castelló. La combinació de la formació amb metodologies per al desenvolupament de projectes comunicatius és tant més útil i possible en la mesura que s’usa el mateix mitjà com a element demostratiu i de construcció d’aquestes possibilitats.The Universitat Jaume I of Castelló, hereinafter UJI, came into being as a centre of higher education and research in 1991 and from the very outset it has had the firm intention of enhancing the social, economic and cultural development of the territory in which it is immersed, namely, the province of Castelló. In line with this commitment to society, the Connectem Programme was born with the aim of promoting and fostering the use of ICT in the rural areas of the province through a range of different training and revitalisation activities. Through this project, and more specifically through the Socio-cultural Activities Service (SASC), the UJI intends to provide training in the use of these online communicative tools and help stimulate the creation of communication projects in the rural areas of the province of Castelló. Combining training with methodologies for developing communication projects is made more useful and feasible by the fact that the same medium is utilised as an element to both demonstrate and construct these possibilities
