El presente artículo realiza una crítica cinematográfica de “El desencanto” (1976) de Jaime Chávarri, y analiza cuáles son los diferentes elementos que constituyen la memoria individual y colectiva. No sólo como proyección de la identidad del individuo en su vinculación con el pasado, sino también su trascendencia hacia la sociedad y reivindicación de su pervivenciaThis article reviews the film entitled “El desencanto” (The Disenchantment) (1976) directed by Jaime Chávarri and Bucharest. It analyses the different elements that go to make up individual and collective memory, not only as a projection of the individual’s identity linked with the past, but also with regard to the importance it has for society and the demands made for its very survival
