Abstract
Los últimos años de vida de Johann Kaspar von Thürriegel, el militar de origen bávaro que se encargó de aportar al gobierno español la mayor parte de los colonos centroeuropeos con los que se colonizaron las Nuevas Poblaciones de Sierra Morena y Andalucía, han permanecido, en buena medida, desconocidos hasta ahora. Sin embargo, el hallazgo de sus últimas voluntades nos permite aproximarnos mejor a esa etapa. Con este trabajo, consideramos que se ofrece una información muy valiosa para todos los interesados en la biografía de este militar bávaro.The last years of life of Johann Kaspar von Thürriegel, the military man of Bavarian origin that was in charge to contribute to the Spanish government most of the Central European colonists with which the New Populations of Sierra Morena and Andalusia colonized themselves, have remained, largely, not known until now. However, the finding of its last wills allows us to approximate us better to that stage. This effort will provide an important source to those interested in their biography
