With the purpose of looking new for perspectives on the study of the funeral world, there are exposed two examples of the application of computer tools (Data Bases and Geographic Information System) applied to the analysis of Islamic cementeries to Madinat al-Qurtuba and the evolution of the funeral topography of the Roman and Islamic Cordova.Con la finalidad de buscar nuevos perspectivas sobre el estudio del mundo funerario, se exponen dos ejemplos de las aplicaciones de herramientas informáticas (Base de Datos y Sistemas de Información Geográfica) enfocadas al análisis de los cementerios islámicos de Madinat al-Qurtuba y de la evolución de la topografía funeraria de la Córdoba romana e islámica
