Basic requirements for specialists in the sphere of tourism and peculiarities of tourism education in higher education

Abstract

Статтю присвячено проблемі підготовки майбутніх фахівців зі спортивно-оздоровчого туризму. Розглянуто сутність понять «освіта», «навчання», «професійна освіта», «спортивно-оздоровчий туризм». Доведено необхідність підготовки кваліфікованих кадрів у сфері спортивно-оздоровчого туризму, розкрито основні вимоги, які висуваються до фахівців сфери туризму. Проаналізовано особливості туристської освіти у вищих навчальних закладах та запропоновано базові принципи й напрямки розвитку спортивно-оздоровчого туризму.The article is devoted to the training of future specialists of sports health tourism. The the concepts of «education», «training», «professional education», «sports tourism» are considered. The necessity of training of qualified personnel in the field of sports health tourism, which is caused by the fact that the tourism industry needs specialists who can work independently and creatively, generating competent innovation, new ideas and proposals, demonstrating a willingness to successfully implement them in a competitive environment are proved. The basic requirements that apply to specialists in tourism are solved; the peculiarities of tourism education in higher education are analyzed. It was found that the existing system of education, including curricula and programs in disciplines do not include specific training of highly qualified specialists for work in the field of sports and recreational activities. It is proved that the training system for tourism must be multifaceted, slender, flexible, mobile, so that in the shortest possible time it will be able to respond to any changes in the tourism market and basic principles and directions of development of sports health tourism are proposed
