Explotation/restoration of medium-sized graveI pits: a study case at the Jarama valley (Madrid)

Abstract

In the las few years the integral restoration of gravel extration land in alluvial soils has taken a very important role. The restoration proposal implies frequently a transformation to a wetland landscape (scenery), in which coexists restored zones above the phreatic level and residual lagoons.
