Análisis of knowledge’s results at the beginning and at the end of the course for the immigrant students in comparision with the autochthnonous students

Abstract

Este artículo presenta en su introducción la importancia de conocer el punto de partida del alumnado inmigrante y autóctono para ponerlo en relación con los resultados de final de curso y así poder valorar cuáles son los factores que están incidiendo en su rendimiento y ajustar, como consecuencia, el proceso de enseñanza/aprendizaje. Para ello, desarrollamos una investigación que permite comparar los procesos de aprendizaje del alumnado inmigrante y autóctono y constatar si las diferencias que aparecen entre ambas poblaciones son significativas. Con una metodología mixta, cuantitativa y cualitativa, se llegó a identificar un perfil propio en cada una de las poblaciones. Los resultados ofrecen datos sobre el distinto punto de partida de ambas poblaciones y de la evaluación final. No siempre son significativas las diferencias en todos los aspectos y nos conducen a conclusiones de diversa índole: en relación con las áreas evaluadas, en relación con el proceso en su conjunto y con una serie de factores que influyen en el proceso educativo y en su inclusión escolar.The present report shows the importance of knowing the level of knowledge at the beginning and at the end of course of the immigrants and autochthonous students to be able to value which factors are affecting in their academic performance and the way suitable. We develop a research about the comparison of the learning processes of the immigrant and autochthonous students to observe if the differences that were appearing between both populations were significant. It was used a methodology mixed, quantitative and qualitative. It was addressed to identify an own profile in each other populations and a series of factors that affect in the educational process of the immigrant student
