Los triunfos andaluces: un singular de la escultura barroca española

Abstract

This article is a systematic study on the "Triunfos" as peculiar works of art in the Andalusian sculpture throughout the barroque period. However, these monuments are not exclusive of Spain, but we can find several examples in Naples, Viena or Munich. The "Triunfos" are mainly advocated to the Inmaculate Conception, to Saint Raphael or to the Saint devoted in each city.El presente artículo se centra en el estudio sistemático de los Triunfos como obras singulares de la escultura andaluza en el barroco español. Sin embargo, estos monumentos no son exclusivos de España sino que podemos encontrar diversos ejemplos en Nápoles, Viena y Munich.
