This deliverable is a preliminary report on the activities towards multi-link channel models. It summarizes the activities and achievements of investigations of WP1 Task 1.2 in the first year of the project. In this deliverable work focuses on the characterization of the crosscorrelation of multi-link large scale parameters, such as rms delay spread, from outdoor to indoor scenarios and for different carrier frequencies. Furthermore indoor radio propagation in in-room scenarios is considered and first modeling approaches, potantially suitable for multi-link channels are presented. A sparse estimator of the dominant multipath components in the response of the radio channel is also proposed
