Le domaine public maritime est juridiquement bien défini. L’espace qu’il recouvre est
au carrefour d’enjeux majeurs, entre terre et mer. Les risques naturels, comme les risques
technologiques affectent cet espace. La Gestion intégrée des zones côtières oblige les
autorités compétentes à renouveler leur approche de ces espaces. Dès lors, il sera constaté
que l’approche classique du domaine public maritime révèle ses limités, mais l’appréciation
doit être nuancée et conduit à distinguer selon qu’il s’agit de risques naturels ou de
risques technologiques. En revanche il apparaît de manière significative que les enjeux
inhérents à la situation du domaine public maritime exigent une approche intégrée, compte
tenu notamment des objectifs contrastés dont il est l’enjeu. Ceci conduit à y redéfinir les
modalités de la gouvernance. En conclusion, il apparaît bien que l’impact économique, social
et écologique du changement climatique sur ces espaces fragiles implique aussi de s’attacher

the crossroads of major stakes, between land and sea. Natural risks, as technological risks,
affect this area. The integrated coastal zone management submits the competent authorities
to renew their approach of these areas. Consequently, it can be noticed that the traditional
approach of the public maritime domain reveals its own limits, but the appreciation must be
moderated and leads to distinguish between a question of natural risks or technological
risks. On the other hand, it appears significantly that the stakes inherent to the situation
of the public maritime domain require an integrated approach, taking into account
particularly the contrasted objectives of which it is the stake. This resulted in redefining
the methods of the governorship there. In conclusion, it appears well that economic, social
and ecological impact of climate change on these fragile areas also implies to stick finally
to causalities of these phenomena
