Abstract
Durante el siglo IV a.C. asistimos a una serie de transformaciones profundas\ud
dentro del ámbito militar griego. Una de ellas fue la que realizó el\ud
ateniense Ifícrates en el marco de la infantería ligera griega. Sin embargo,\ud
estos cambios y especialmente su posterior evolución permanecen todavía en\ud
la más absoluta oscuridad. El objetivo del presente artículo es analizar en\ud
profundidad la reforma del ateniense, así como sus orígenes, sus precedentes,\ud
y su posible continuidad en el tiempo a partir de las escasas fuentes de que\ud
disponemos, realizando además una cierta valoración sobre el marco en que\ud
se desarrollan.During the fourth century B.C. Iphíkrates carried out some refonns on the\ud
equipment of the peltasts. The objective of this article is analize this changes,\ud
its origins and the continuity of them in time, looking also throw the firamework\ud
in which they developed
